| The Astrolabe
The French sloop Astrolabe brought glory and riches to France in her 38 years at sea. (1812-1850). She explored many lands which greatly expanded the boundaries and powers for the French Empire.
The model was constructed using the plank-on-bulkhead method, has fourteen brass cannons and was completed in approximately 6 months. Dimensions are: Length 44", height 38", and Scale 1:50.
