The Cruiser

The HMS Cruiser, 16 gun Brig of War was built in 1795, and was the first of more than 100 ships of the Cruizer Class of fast sailing vessels built between 1795 and 1815 for the Royal Navy.

This fine model of her is built at a scale of 1:64 from the Caldercraft kit. All blocks are custom made by Warner woods, and the rigging is hand-laid linen and hemp. Approximate construction time is 400 to 500 hours over the course of two years. A custom display case of dark finished oak is included in the very reasonable price of $2,800.00, shipping and handling are extra.
