Fidelity of scale abounds in this huge, and superbly detailed replica of Germany-s finest 17th century warship. Boasting a magnificent plank-on-frame hull of walnut and teak, fully detailed lower gun decks, beautiful mast and deck work, and a maze of standing and running rigging… she is nothing short of breathtaking! Even her lower gun decks and rigged guncarriages can be seen through the gun ports.
Only the finest woods and fittings are used throughout, and her scale hemp rig is accurate down to the boat tenders and stern anchor scope. 50 bronze cannon ride detailed and rigged carriages, gun decks are oak, whereas weather decks are tanganyika and greenheart. Keel, deck trim and blackstrake are rich black walnut, the hinged rudder is red mahogany, and all masts and blocks are spruce, just as they would have been on the original; vessel. Her transom is painstakingly inlaid with beautiful cherry planks, and even the rosewood yardarms are hand-hewn from square Honduran Rosewood timbers. Her detailed lifeboat is fine teak and walnut, while her highly detailed deck furniture and housing structures are constructed of teak and walnut, with cherry and oak caprails. No stains are used on these beautiful woods, only successive
coatings of oil were used to bring out their richness.
She stands impressive at: 48” long x 40” high x 16” wide. This model is easily valued @ $4,500.00 - $6,500.00! No case is provided for the reduced selling price of $3,000.00.
