Next Sold Model - The Amerigo Vespucci

At the battle of Trafalgar in 1805, Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson defeated a combined Spanish and French fleet in this flagship. The restored Victory now rests at Portsmouth, England. When I visited there in 1990, I was taken aback by its beauty and majesty. I had been building my model for a year and took many detailed notes and photos to ensure the accuracy of my replica. This particular model was built from the Correl Kit, and took four years to complete. There were several errors in the plans, and much of the material supplied were discarded, but it is still a good kit in my opinion.
