The USS Constitution She was nicknamed "Old Ironsides ", when a sailor claimed that a cannon ball actually bounced off her tough oak hull. She was one of the first of the original six frigates that made up the United States Navy. The Constitution was built at the Edmand Hartt Shipyard in Boston Ma. in 1797.

This beautiful model of the USS Constitution isa an excellent value. She was constructed from a Mamoli kit with slight modifications. There are actual pieces of the real Constitution incorporated into the model like cross trees, anchor davits, rudder, anchor collars etc.

This model took approximately 500 hours to complete and is 3 years old. The size of the model is approx. 38" inches long, 28" inches tall and 12" inches wide. She is black and white with natural wood tones. She sports a full accompaniment of hand sewn and stitched sails.

The Pride of the United States Naval Fleet USS Constitution is being offered at an incredible price of $1200.00 plus packaging and shipping cost. There is no display case being offered with this model.
